Lioh will be tasked to grow revenue for Clozette Malaysia, generating ideas, and pitching proposals to existing and new clients with Clozette’s offerings.

Social content marketing company Clozette Malaysia has appointed Jamie Lioh as its account director. Previously account director for digital agency Havas Immerse, Lioh will be tasked to grow revenue for Clozette Malaysia, generating ideas, and pitching proposals to existing and new clients with Clozette’s offerings. She will be reporting to country manager of Clozette Malaysia, Lee See Yin.

During her time with Havas Immerse, Lioh led the account management and oversaw corporate accounts such as Unilever, Friso Gold, Mamee, and Allianz. The accounts are worth over 2 million in revenue, according to Lioh. She also won feminine hygiene product provider Libresse's pitch project against three agencies in November 2019.

Lioh told A+M that she chose to join Clozette Malaysia as she was attracted to its business model of being both an agency and a content publisher. She added that with both capabilities, Clozette can offer clients rich data insights and co-creation opportunities, and help brands communicate with their consumers with better authenticity and relevance.

In a statement to A+M , Lee said Clozette Malaysia is delighted to have Lioh join its leadership team. "[Lioh's] extensive experience in digital marketing and her strategic thinking will play an important part as we continue to disrupt and re-define the 'New Media' space, which blends our content creation capabilities, distribution channels and our community of female creators and consumers, to help brands engage on a different level," he added.

Lee  joined Clozette Malaysia  as country manager for Malaysia in November 2019. He was also previously from Havas Immerse, helming the role of general manager. In his current role, Lee is responsible for spearheading the business at Clozette, which currently has a presence in Singapore, Indonesia, and Japan.
