Aaron Gomez (pictured) has joined VaynerMedia as VP, head of strategy after more than a year with Gojek as VP of digital strategy. According to his LinkedIn, Gomez is based in Singapore and is responsible for the creation of "a fantastic working atmosphere where creatives and media can jam and produce something spectacular" for clients.
In a statement to esb电竞数据投注电脑版 , Avery Akkineni, head of VaynerMedia Singapore, said Gomez is responsible for leading strategy and analytics for the agency's APAC operations. He will support local, regional and global brand partners while reporting to Akkineni, and closely partner with Wanda Pogue, global chief strategy officer who joined in November last year.
"Gomez brings a wealth of digital strategy experience to VaynerMedia, and decades of agency experience. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Vayner family," Akkineni said.
Gomez reunites with VJ Anand who joined VaynerMedia as executive creative director, SVP from Gojek in October last year, overseeing the agency’s creative product in the Asia Pacific region. Anand's appointment comes shortly after the agency opened its Asia Pacific operations in July 2019.

Meanwhile during his time at Gojek, Gomez oversaw digital strategy, operations and execution of digital content across marketing channels to drive organic traffic. His LinkedIn profile stated that this included both social and web experiences across multiple digital touch-points.
Prior to that, Gomez led a consultancy named The Brood Mother which offered services for brands, in training and development for digital applications in businesses today. Gomez has also worked at TBWA\\ in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur , as well as Cheil, Y&R, Bates Asia, and Dell Asia Pacific.
