Former The Secret Little Agency’s (TSLA) general manager Julia Wei (pictured) has joined Lazada as VP of integrated communications.
She first helmed the role as GM of TSLA’s Singapore office
in 2015
. She was tasked to anchor and expand its headquarter operations in Singapore. She was also responsible for contributing to strategic client counsel and power-up TSLA’s earned media capabilities as part of its integrated communications planning approach, both regionally and globally.
Prior to TSLA, Wei was with Edelman Singapore for close to 10 years and headed up Edelman’s Consumer Practice. In the role, she led a team that developed local, regional and global integrated communications strategies for brands such as Shell, Singapore Tourism Board, Lexus and Diageo. Meanwhile, industry veteran Richard Bleasdale joined
TSLA as managing director
. This is a newly created role for the agency and Bleasdale brings over 30 years of experience as both a global agency leader and counsel to C-level clients around the world.
