Wavemaker Indonesia has appointed Alban Dudek as partner eCommerce. Dudek (pictured) will report to Amir Suherlan, MD of Wavemaker Indonesia. He will be responsible for leading eCommerce services for all Wavemaker Indonesia clients, from brand awareness to conversion on multiple channels, advancing the team to improve their eCommerce expertise, and focusing on the clients’ performance growth area.
Prior to joining Wavemaker, Dudek had served at apparel and fashion brand Omnichannel Retail Indonesia as chief digital and marketing officer operating as part of strategic leader for eCommerce development and digital marketing leader. Omnichannel Retail Indonesia is the company behind Sistersel platform as well as Indonesian brands Sophie Martin and Brunbrun Paris. Having worked in creative design for four years in Europe, Wavemaker said Dudek’s experiences in multi-market will positively bring business to be more competitive and profitable.
Dudek said that digital transformation and expansion of marketplaces, particularly in Indonesia, have allowed the growth of multiple inspired brands and sellers who took this opportunity to grow fast, sometimes with a short-term vision.
"The establishment of bigger and well-implemented brands is now challenged by the growth of this new market. More than ever, agencies and marketers are now empowered to accompany this transformation while keeping respect for brand values. Accompanying this growth requires strong leadership and actions.
